Faster Than Cancer Hydroplane on Display for the Kids!

The Faster Than Cancer Hydroplane racing team was on display for the 2022 Federal Way Touch-A-Truck event organized by the Federal Way Community Center.

The first hour of the day was dedicated to families and children with auditory sensitivity, so no horns blared or engines rev'd as kids enjoyed climbing, jumping, touching, and getting up close with Waste Management, Army, Police S.W.A.T, Tri-Med Ambulance, Tractors, etc.

The longest line of the day was the opportunity to meet Steve Huff, get a signed Hero Card, and then sit in the #FasterThanCancer #TheFloodGuys Pro-Lite Hydroplane. It was non-stop smiles as kids, and more than a few parents, jumped up on the bright orange hydroplane and climbed down into the driver's seat. #RaceFace

Added bonus our new intern/job shadow friend Ethan was there with us to help meet and greet the community. Ethan is a part of DVR Department of Vocational Rehabilitation to work with Trillium Employment Services.
